1. Description of Service
Automated Check-In ("the Service") is an automated facilitation tool provided by AirLegit. The Service initiates the online check-in procedure for properly enrolled flights and attempts to deliver a boarding pass to the registered user via email. The resulting boarding pass and notifications may include flight details such as departure date/time, terminal and gate information, selected seats, and frequent flyer numbers. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
2. Initiation vs. Completion
While AirLegit attempts to complete the check-in process on your behalf, you acknowledge that:
- Final Authority: The airline maintains final control over the check-in process.
- Manual Requirements: Certain airlines may require additional manual actions that an automated service cannot perform (e.g., health declarations, passport scans, or visa verifications).
- Duty to Verify: If you do not receive a boarding pass within the expected timeframe, you are responsible for manually checking in directly via the airline's website or at the airport.
3. User Responsibilities & Data Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Data Integrity: AirLegit is not liable for failed check-ins, missed flights, or incorrect boarding passes resulting from typos or incorrect data provided by the user (e.g., wrong booking reference, misspelled name).
- Additional Information: In certain circumstances, AirLegit or the airline may require additional traveller information to complete the check-in process. You are responsible for providing any requested information within the required timeframe. Failure to do so may prevent successful completion of the Service.
- Eligibility: You confirm that you have the legal authority to check in for the passengers included in your request.
4. Third-Party Dependencies
AirLegit acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for:
- Airline Systems: Technical failures, downtime, or glitches on the airline's website or mobile app.
- Operational Changes: Changes made by the airline regarding seat assignments, gate changes, flight delays, or cancellations.
- Denied Boarding: The airline's decision to deny boarding for any reason.
5. Electronic Communications
By purchasing or enrolling in Automated Check-In, you consent to receive electronic communications from AirLegit. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
6. Privacy
Use of this Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we handle the sensitive travel data you provide to facilitate check-in.
7. Liability Disclaimer
THE INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THE NOTIFICATIONS MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. AIRLEGIT AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION AND RELATED GRAPHICS CONTAINED IN THE NOTIFICATIONS FOR ANY PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL SUCH INFORMATION AND RELATED GRAPHICS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND. AIRLEGIT AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THIS INFORMATION, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL AIRLEGIT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES—INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS—ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE AUTOMATED CHECK-IN SERVICE, THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
The Service may be cancelled for a refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure time, provided the Service has not already been performed.
Once the Automated Check-In process has been successfully completed and a boarding pass has been issued, the Service shall be deemed to have been fully delivered.
No refund shall be payable where the Service cannot be completed due to circumstances outside AirLegit's reasonable control, including airline restrictions, airline systems or operational requirements, or where the customer has failed to comply with these Terms. Refunds for failures solely attributable to AirLegit shall be determined in accordance with the applicable refund policy.
If your itinerary or booking reference is voluntarily changed after purchasing the Service, the Service may no longer be valid for the updated itinerary and does not automatically transfer to replacement flights. Any refund or replacement of the Service in these circumstances will be subject to the applicable merchant or distribution partner's policy.
If you purchased the Service via a distribution partner (the Merchant of Record), all cancellation and refund requests must be submitted directly to that partner's customer support team. For direct purchases from AirLegit, cancellation and refund requests should be submitted to AirLegit.
9. Sole Remedy
If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the Service, or with any of these terms—outside of the specific refund conditions outlined in Section 8—your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Service.
